AI consulting that ends in working software.

Studio Northstar in The Hague advises companies on AI and then builds what it advises. We start from your long-term goal and what counts as done, and write both down in a brief.

Advice first, or build straight away?

Not every company needs advice first. This is how to tell what fits.

  • You don't know yet where AI helps

Then we start with advice. We work out which tasks AI can take on, and write the choice down.

  • You already know what you want

Then you need no advice. We write down the goal and start building: an AI agent or custom software.

  • Your team has to learn to work with it

In the Academy your organisation picks from fourteen modules on working with AI. We also run hackathons for teams, such as the NextEnergy AI Hackathon 2026.

The engagement in four steps

Every step is checked the way our own work is: a different model reviews what ARCS produces.

  1. Goal

We write down what you want to reach in the long run: your north star. Every piece of advice is checked against it.

  2. Opportunities

We map which tasks AI could carry out or check, with which data, and what the risks are.

  3. Choice

Together we choose what to automate and what not. A council from ARCS tests the assumptions and risks before anything is built.

  4. Brief

We write down the goal, what counts as done and the open questions in a brief. With it, we can build, or your own team can carry on.

Where your data stays

We choose per task where the work runs and record that choice: on our own machines, or with a model from an outside AI provider. When material may not leave the building, the work runs on Northstar One, our own machines and models on a private network.

Where we have done this

A hackathon with a client team, and two of our own products that do the same thinking.

Questions we get.

What does an AI consultant do?

An AI consultant helps you decide where AI helps your business and how to bring it in. With us, that advice ends in a brief that we then build ourselves, with ARCS, our agentic platform.

How does a small business start with AI?

Start from the goal, not the tool. Pick one task that keeps coming back and where you know what done looks like. Write that down, have it built, and judge the result at agreed moments.

What does AI consulting cost?

That depends on the question you bring and how far the advice has to go, so we name no amount here. After the first conversation we write down your goal and what counts as done in a brief. We reply to your request within three working days.

Do we need to sort out our data first?

No, we work that out together in the first step. We write down which data there is, where it lives and what is missing for your goal. Confidential material can stay on Northstar One.

How does our team learn to work with AI?

In the Studio Northstar Academy your organisation picks from fourteen modules within one licence. We also run hackathons for teams, such as the NextEnergy AI Hackathon 2026.
